For Boys and Girls 13 – 18 years old.

Since 1998, Hiawatha Island Boat Club has conducted junior and adult rowing at the Les Wagner Rowing Center on the beautiful Susquehanna River. To introduce this enjoyable and challenging sport to the youth in our area, Hiawatha Island Boat Club will conduct a Rowing Camp daily from 8:30 - noon.

The fee will be refunded if, after the initial session, the camper decides to withdraw.

The Camp will emphasize basic rowing technique, equipment familiarization, and water safety. Emphasis will be on sweep rowing (one oar), but all campers will also experience sculling (2 oars).

The program will be conducted by experienced coaches from Hiawatha Island Boat Club and Binghamton University,

All rowing campers must be at least 13 years old, in good health for moderate to strenuous exercise, and be able to swim.
